Spirit of the Watershed

What better way to experience your watershed than through the stroke of a paintbrush? Artists of all styles and skill levels are invited to join us for an outdoor art experience at Miquelon Lake Provincial Park on Saturday, September 13th. Local artist and instructor Tara Szott will provide demonstrations and guidance, and participants will have an opportunity to spend the afternoon capturing the spirit of Alberta’s changing seasons.

The cost of the event is $25, and includes a local Gourmet Lunch. Contact Sheila Logelin at the Battle River Watershed Alliance to register (phone 780.672.0276 email: sheila@battleriverwatershed.ca).

About Tara:
As a local Artist and Instructor, Tara finds inspiration in the ever-changing landscape of the prairies. Nature, wildlife, flora and fauna are the main subjects that fill her canvases ranging from traditional realism to modern abstract.  Whether her time is spent in her studio at home, volunteering art demonstrations at long term care facilities and schools or teaching classes to both adults and children, she finds nothing more enjoyable and rewarding.
