Finding Common Ground Bike Trip and Documentary

What is the future of energy in our changing climate? How do we power our way forward?

In September 2017, the BRWA and 25 community members took off on a three day bike trip to explore the current and future energy production in east-central Alberta.  Along the way, we visited seven energy production sites, heard from 14 guest speakers, covered 186kms, and had many conversations.

During the bike tour, film maker Alison Bortolon from Radical Productions was behind a camera to capture the action. The film "Finding Common Ground" shows highlights of the tour, and the perspectives that emerge.

The Finding Common Ground Documentary will premiere on Monday February 26th, at the Daysland Palace Theatre.

Do you want to see the film in your community? Contact the BRWA at 780-672-0276 to request a screening.
