Caring for our Watersheds Final Competition 2018

Every year, students in grades 7-12 from across Alberta are asked to write a 1000 word proposal on what they would do to help improve their watershed. In 2018, we recevied 152 proposals from 247 students representing 15 schools.  Of those proposals the judges choose 10 groups whos ideas were most clearly defined and if implemented, would have the greatest beneficial impacts on their watershed. Those 10 groups are now invited to participate in the final competition.

The Final Competition will be held on:
Saturday May 12th, 2018
Reynolds-Alberta Museum
Wetaskiwin, AB

Students will be sharing their ideas to improve their watershed in a 5 minute verbal presentation.  Familiy and community members are welcomed.
