Beautiful Winter in the Battle River Country

Join us in celebrating the magic and beauty of winter in the Battle River Country!

TWO FREE EVENTS!

 

12 Noon– Cathel Books (5017-50 St. Camrose),  
Bring your lunch and enjoy an hour with ALL of us.  
Stan Spence will present stories and poetry on themes of family, teachers,  country creatures and oilfield experiences in Battle River Country, Chauvin area.

Tea, coffee & juices available.

 

7:00 pm– Camrose Public Library (4710-50 Ave. Camrose)
A life-wide evening of winter art, video, photography, local musicians, and poetry, with special activities for children.  Enjoy winter treats of hot chocolate, bread pudding and more.  Alberta poet, Diane Buchanan, will present from her published works.

Bring your own “Things found in Winter”  to display in a
Beautiful Winter art exhibition. From nature or from your home bring something that represents winter to you.
Prizes for best entries will be awarded.
