    Celebrate a successful harvest and the Ferry Point Reach Riparian Projects completed in this area.

    Everyone is invited to join the BRWA for a free BBQ lunch from 11am-2pm.  While there you could take the opportunity to learn more about the Ferry Point Reach Restoration Program and be involved in a stewardship activity.

    Come and Capture the Spirit of Miquelon. A plein-air workshop for all levels of artists. 

    Sunday September 22nd, from 10am-3pm.
    Miquelon Lake Provincial Park. Meet at the Information Centre.  

    Join fellow artist for an afternoon outdoor art experience!  Participants will have the opportunity for instruction and guidance from a local artisit/educator, and the space and time to be inspired by the spirit of Miquelon. Please bring your own supplies, easel and lawn chair.

    We will supply a local lunch catered by Country Accent Bistro. A $20 registration fee will be charged.

    We are at it again!

    There is a direct link between the health of our environment and the health of our bodies. The BRWA is working to promote both. We invite you to be part of this watershed wide tour to promote a clean environment and our healthy (water) bodies.  Come be part of a movement, and get moving! 

    Tour Dates: Sunday June 9th- Thursday June 13th.

    Tour Objective: To provide a fun, safe and encouraging opportunity for Battle River Community Members be active outdoors and gain a new appreciation of our watersheds beauty and all it provides. During the ride we will also be raising awareness about the BRWA and our watershed, and educating community members about the important role our watershed provides in maintaining our good health. The special focus of this bike tour will be local agriculture and the important role it plays in supporting our communities and watershed.  


    June 9: Battle Lake through Wetaskiwin, Hobemma, to Ferintosh. 
    Daily km=96km

    June 10: Ferintosh through Donalda to Big Knife Provincial Park or Forestburg. 
    Daily km= 93km

    June 11. Forestburg through Castor to Corontation. 
    Daily km=85km

    June 12: Coronation through Consort to Czar. 
    Daily km= 114km

    June 13: Czar through Provost to Edgerton. 
    Daily km= 103km

    Total km= 491km
