Caring for our Watersheds Final Competition 2017

Every year, students in grades 7-12 from across Alberta are asked to write a 1000 word proposal on what they would do to help improve their watershed. In 2017, we recevied 143 proposals from 251 students representing 17 schools.  Of those proposals the judges choose 11 groups whos ideas were most clearly defined and if implemented, would have the greatest beneficial impacts on their watershed. Those 11 groups are now invited to participate in the final competition.

The Final Competition will be held on:
Saturday May 13th, 2017
Reynolds-Alberta Museum
Wetaskiwin, AB

Students will be sharing their ideas to improve their watershed in a 5 minute verbal presentation.  Familiy and community members are welcomed.
