Rolling down the River

There is a direct link between the health of our environment and the health of our bodies. The BRWA is working to promote both.

We invite you to be part of this active educational event, a watershed wide tour to promote a clean environment and our healthy (water) bodies.  Come be part of a movement, and get moving!

Tour Objective: Rolling Down the River provides a fun, safe and encouraging opportunity for Battle River Community Members be active outdoors and gain a new appreciation of our watersheds beauty and all it provides. During the ride we will be raising awareness about the watershed, and educating community members about the important role our watershed plays in maintaining our good health.

Rolling down the River will make a positive difference in our watershed by educating and engaging students and community members. On this journey we will raise awareness of:

The Tours include:

  • Water and snacks throughout the day and a lunch supplied on route
  • Break-down coverage with a support vehicle on hand (Rosalind 120 route will have less support)
  • Participation prizes and fun activities for cyclists
  • Experiencing your watershed from the seat of your bicycle!
