Annual General Meeting

Our AGM will be hosted in Stettler this year, and is open to the general public. Come on out to hear what we’ve been up to in the past 12 months, and get the latest update on our watershed management plan. The meeting will run from 10am-3pm, with lunch provided.

The BRWA will also welcome two professionals to the meeting to present on the topic “Making the Most of It: How do we prepare for extreme weather events?” Matt Machielse with ESRD will analyze the 2013 flood and offer next steps for flood and drought mitigation in Alberta, and Dr. Dave Sauchyn with PARC will discuss North America’s adaptations and vulnerabilities to climate extremes. Discover how our area is being affected by a changing climate, and ways in which we are learning to effectively manage and adapt to these changes.

To RSVP for the lunch, please contact Sheila at the office, 780-672-0276.
