This biannual full day event invites approximately 200 grade 4-6 students to take part in a series of educational stations hosted by local guest experts. The interactive stations engage students in many aspects of the natural world such as biodiversity, waste, wetlands, watersheds and forest ecosystems.

The event is provided across the watershed free to schools including bussing, lunch and take home activities.  The next location of Explore More could be in your community! We move this event around, so please contact us if you are interested in hosting it at your school!

Our guest experts: Agroforestry and Woodlot Extension Society, Alberta Agriculture, Alberta Conservation Association, Alberta Environment, Alberta Lake Management Society, Alberta Trappers Association, Cows and Fish, Inside Education, Nature Alberta, Red Deer River Watershed Alliance, and STRIX ecological consulting.
The event would not be possible without our guest experts who host the educational stations.
